Thursday, one more day

and tomorrow is go home early day.

We went to Donna Marr's visitation tonight.  Saw people I used to know.  Mildred Eldridge and Janice,  JR and Fairy Sue Snow, Larry Teter, Betty Logan, and Rita Helen.

Rita Helen said Brenda Bishop had fallen and severely injured her knee. And Virgil Miles was killed in a car accident yesterday.


Virgil F. Miles, age 74 of Omaha, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Cox Health South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
The son of Leonard Peck Miles and Gladys (Hefner) Miles was born August 28, 1938 in Denver, Arkansas.
Virgil was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Pearl (Roberts) Miles; two brothers, Mickey Miles and Cecil Hefner; and two sisters, Corine McGee and Fay Hickman.
Survivors are his children, Lisa Miles, Mark Miles, Shannon Miles and wife, Lisa, and Cody Miles and Haley Herman, all of Omaha, Arkansas; brother, David Miles and wife, Valerie of Harrison; two grandsons, Daniel Miles and Matthew Miles; a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Miles; nephews, Barney Hickman and Danny Hickman of Harrison, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Looks like he died before the crash.

I don't remember how Mickey Miles died. richard would tease me about him
He would say
miles and miles
and piles and piles.

I don't even know what he meant but I would get fighting mad when he said it.
