Walking at Sunrise

 

I walked my mile at sunrise this morning.

This was as I arived back home, taken in Son's dirveway.

This was the other side of the little pond, past Sister's house.

This was just this side of Dan's gate at the first break in the trees.

Not sure about these last two.

And some of the others may not be exact, but all somewhere between here and Dan's.

A whole day

To myself.  I took the day off and Elvis and all others have left the building. It is foggy and cool, but promises to be a glorious sunny day.

Spring in my step

Last week for the first time since the first week in February, I averaged more than 10000 steps a day, 71,520.  I feel better when I am walk more at work. I try to have at least 5000 steps by 2 pm.

A friend at church got a new Fitbit.  She said she was averaging 2000 steps a day.  I did not mention my steps to her.

At work today, they had to shut down one line because of so many people left to go to a funeral. I do not remember that ever happening before.  Some people stick by family and friends.  The deceased was born south of Texas. 

Years ago a worker was killed on the job, still the lines kept running. 

Location, Location, Location

 must be the secret to game cam success. I am getting day time images since I move the camera to the new location.

Game Cam-April 15

 I collected the images from the game camera Friday.  Here is a sampling.

Still the deer only come around at night.  This is a really good picture of Ginger. I have moved the camera.  Maybe I will get some daylight pics in the new location.

I am finially over my crud.  I am back into walking and trying to get in at least 2 miles a day now since the weather is warmer most days. By 4 when I get the kids feed it is usually really nice for a walk. I do not enjoy walking in the cold.

I even went to church today.  It has been 7 weeks since I had been.  It felt good to be back.
