Just the Girls

Georgie Girl out of Red in front, with Lisa Kelly's boy on the left and Red's boy on the right.  These were all born January 31.

Snickers and Tootsie Roll out of Cocoa with Georgie Girl behind.  These two were born Sunday, February 18.

Tootsie Roll and Snickers again.  These are Red's granddaughters.

\

Lightin' out of Lilly.  I guess that is her brother behind her.

Lightin with the lighting bolt showing.  I first named her Ears because of her very long ears, but this white strip makes me think of lighting.  She is Big White's granddaughter.

Martha Washington, out of Cher born Monday, February 19, President's day, hence the name.  She is Big White's Great-Granddaughter.

Pochantas out of Seven.  She is Big White's granddaughter.

Jasmine out of Blackie.  These last two were born February 21.

That is all seven girls.  We have so many I can not keep them straight.  I may or may not post pics of the boys.

We are still waiting on Big White.

It has just rained and rained, but I think tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.  A good day for Big White to drop her kids I think.

Lots of babies

But no more new ones.  Yesterday, it was raining and all the babies were snuggling in the two corners.  This morning, it was still raining/misting but much warmer than yesterday. Still all the babies were under the roof.

This is Blackie's one baby girl named Jasmine.  I can't believe she just had one.

This is Seven and her boy, I think. She is the other one that had babies Wednesday.  She had a boy a and girl that look a lot alike.  CORRECTION: We have so many babies I can't keep track.  Her girl is solid brown/red and is the smallest red baby in the pic with so many red babies.

Big White is the only one still to have babies.  She did not look like anything was happening this morning when I checked on her.

This was another girl playing with her phone last night.

Not good weather for babies

We did not get bad weather on the roads, but had freezing rain on and off while having babies yesterday.

Seven had a boy and a girl and Blackie had one girl. Blackie was so big she waddled.  I am really surprised she had only one.  I checked on them this am at 5 and they seemed to be doing alright despite the bad weather.  I took all three inside to warm up and dry off because the first two did not look so good, and the second one's ears were so wet I was afraid they would freeze.  Often if they have long ears that freeze, most of the ear drops off.  Then they look terrible.

One Girl, One Boy

Cher had a girl on the left, boy on right about 2 hours ago.

I was trying to think of a candy name for a white with brown but maybe I will call her Martha Washington since today is President's day.  Makes 4 boys and 4 girls in 2 days.  Not bad.  They are doing great.  Were up and eating right after hitting the ground.

Three more to kid probably before the week end.

Lots of Mamma's, One Daddy

Daddy Earnhardt in the yard Greg built for him.  It is nice because he has more room and can get the sunshine.  Plus, there is part of a bale of hay in this enclosure so I do not have to feed him hay each day.  Notice how the tip of  his ears turn up.  You can really see it on the right ear here, but they both turn up on the end.

These are the first three born the last day of January, two boys and one Georgie Girl.  I think the one facing the camera is the girl, but can not tell for sure in this pic.  The middle one is the lighter colored boy.  The other boy has white stockings, but you can not see their feet here.

This is Lilly with a multi colored girl in fromt and a boy behind.  They were born early this morning.  Both these have turned up ears like daddy.  The little girl's ears really turn up on the end.  I have named her Ears.

This is the same two.  You can see the turned up ear a little better here.

This is Lou with two boys.  They were born sometime today.  They were already dry when I found them a little after 4 this evening.  I do not name the boys, so these will just be Lou;s boys.

They are all strong and healthy.  Eating and jumping around.

These are the two girls born to Cocoa this morning.  I have named them Snickers and Tootsie Roll because of the brown tail on the white girl.  I think this is the first white goat we have had with a bronw tail..

They are so cute.  Six really good new kids today, 3 boys and 3 girls and all toghther 5 boys and 4 girls.

We have 4 more nannies that will kid this week.

I am really pleased but a little  melodically .  George would have been so proud.  Earnhardt was his choice for a billy.

Two More Babies

I think they are both girls.  I will have to check to make sure.

They both are strong and healthy, born with no problems sometime during the night.  Now we need names.  The brown one has a star in her forehead, so I may call her Star.  I had one named star but we sold her last summer.  I wanted to name the other one Dale for Dale Earnhardt, but Robert said no.  I could call her DJ for Dale Jr.  She has a brown tail, so maybe I can come up with a name from that.  The mama is Cocoa.

We have 6 more to kid in the next week or so.
