What to believe, what to do?

Take a survey.  Find out what is most popular and believe that, do that.

If you are a public person or a public organization and you make a public decision or a public statement while saying it is an independent decision or statement that was not motivated by what is most popular to believe, think or do, you cannot reverse that decision or take an opposite position of belief when the original decision or belief proves to be unpopular.

That is just what the pink ribbon organization did yesterday and today.  They made a public change in their public policy to align the organization with a politically correct position, all the while disclaiming they were bowing to pressure to make that change.  Then, the change proved very unpopular with the public so they switched horses again the very next day, bowing to pressure.  Sounds like every politician we see on the tube.  Oh, and, a failed politician just recently joined their management ranks.

Ask what they believe and they ask which way is the wind blowing.

Day Thirty Four

We made it to Fayetteville and back.  George's test today was not a sugar test after all.  It was for Cholesterol.  After we got home, they called and said it was normal.  It is good it was not a sugar test because he is not very sweet.

We got the barn and lot up by Clayton's fixed up this afternoon for the goats.  Tomorrow we are moving them up there and locking them in the lot.  After a day or two we will turn them out in the pasture, but they will have the barn for shelter when it is bad weather.  They will like it much better when they can run free.

Day Thirty Three

The girl got glasses.  They are purple and she is very proud of them. Her mama sent the picture via email.

I put collars on the goats tonight.  This weekend we are going to move them into the pasture.  I hope brother does not decide to butcher one or two of them.

Tomorrow I go to the VA with George for his sugar test so I don't have to go to work.  We are planning on looking for tiles for the backsplash in the kitchen also.  Beats going to work.

Day Thirty Two

Is always George Day.

Sixty Five today.  He had a good day.  He had medical tests Monday and today they called and said everything was normal. See you in four years.  Good news.

I baked him a cherry pie, his favorite. I say baked because Mrs. Smith actually made the  pie.  I just put it in the oven.

Goats are doing good.  I bought dog collars at the $ store today for all of them.  I plan on teaching them to lead, or follow.  One more day and then 3 days off.  George has to go for a blood sugar test Friday and I am going so I don't have to go to work.

Day Thirty One

It was overcast, windy and mild today.  It is so warm it does not seem like January.  I am loving it.

The goats are doing good.  I think I will turn them out in the pasture either this weekend or next weekend.  I think they will be fine.  We will see.

Day Thirty

Family Portraits.

 Annie.

Henry

Myrtle

Sally

Red Rover.

Red is still out and about, but she hangs close to the pen, so I guess it is alright.  We kept the dog penned up last night, but let her out this morning and she is making friends already.

I am home today because George has to go for a check up and I am going with him instead of going to work.  I have sick days to use so today is a good day to use one.

Day Twenty Nine

We have guest.  This is Sally and Myrtle in front with Hannah.

In the back, the white one with the brown face is Annie and the big brown is Henry, short for Henrietta.

Sally is going to have babies very soon, and probably all the others will be having babies in a month or so.

This is Red Rover, the one that got away.  She came back about 5 pm and is hanging around the pen. We haven't caught her yet, but we will.

They are all nannies.  Annie is the boss, and Henry is a bully.  Sallie and Myrtle are gentler than the others.

Hannah was really excited.  She wanted to stay out there with them and pull grass for them to eat.

It won't be long till we are rolling in dough with all this livestock.
