Game Cam 06-16

No little babies this time, but one fawn that looks like it was born early this spring.

Rain, Glorious, Rain

 Again.

We are getting a good rain again right now.  I have not had to water Helen's garden since she left.  We have had rain at least every 2 days.  I am loving it.

No Butterflies Today

Just Helen's honeysuckle.

A prickly critter.

And a prickly plant.

As I went by Helen's tonight, the dogs jumped a young fawn just at the edge her yard.  It did not have spots, but it was small.

 One  dark and gold.

And one gold and dark.

Unlike Sister Betty, I don't know the name of either.

06-11, We got babies...

 Or at least one baby.

First Baby.

A racoon got up by the camera on 06/06 and knocked it  off kelter so it was pointing to the ground right in front of the camera, so mostly just pictures of the sticks for the last several days.  Still, the fawn was there two days in a row.  Can't tell if it is the same one, but probably is.

I tried to secure the camera a little better.  I have it sitting on rocks next to a brush pile. This is the secondd time it has been knocked over. The last time it landed upside down still pointed forward so the pics were good, just upside down.  Maybe I will go up and get it in a couple of days and see if we have more babies.
