The day is Saturday, August 28

At my house. We will just have sandwiches, chips and drinks. I am afraid it is going to be hot, so I have decided all the old people and all the fat people are going to be inside under the air. If it is not too awful hot, the kids can play outside. If it is really hot, they can stay inside in the bed room and watch movies. I hope everyone can come. Gilbert will be here. I have to call him back and tell him it is on Saturday. He said he could come either day.

I hope Clayton comes down and cleans my house the week before while I am at work. Or maybe George will do that. Except he is censusing again. He is liking this better than the last time. He got his old boss back and it is easier than what he did last time. Mostly just checking addresses. He works at least one week, and maybe 3 weeks.

She'll be coming round the mountain, Aug 28 or Aug 29

Helen is coming and we are going to have a 'yall come' at my house the week end of Aug 28- 29. We asked Gilbert if he wanted Saturday or Sunday. He did not care. So, we asked Betty. She did not care, but said she would ask her girls which they wanted. Erin might be on call.

Anyway, it will be at my house. No BBQ this time. Just sandwiches, chips and drinks. We decided none of us need to eat that much anyway, except maybe George. But, he only eats once a day anyway.

Time is whenever you want to get here from 9 am to 9 pm. We will have food ready by noon, but will have enough to last all afternoon. It has to be over by 9 pm because that is my bedtime.

Stay tuned for the exact date.

Oh, and does anyone want tomatoes? I picked 5 gallons yesterday. Put about 7 quarts in the freezer whole. I am making salsa from the rest. I am using Helen's recipe, sorta, but I am cooking it. I am going to freeze it, but, in order for it to stay good for more than a day or two when I take it out of the freezer, I think it has to be cooked.

Anyway, I have about all the tomatoes I want to put up and I bet there is another 5 gallons ready to pick tomorrow morning. I guess if brother does not want them, I will take them to work to give away.
