It may get to 100 today for the first time this year, but surely not the last.  I am doing most of my walking at work again.  Yesterday I walked out to Dan's and back around 6pm.  By that time the road is in shade for nearly the entire distance so it is the best time to walk in the evening.  Just be thankful you do not live in Texas, unless you do.  No matter where you live in the US, it will be  hot today. Looks like Foxpark, WY is the place to be today.

The plus side

Of getting old for me is I am so forgetful I can be worrying about something one minute, and the next minute I completely forget what I was worried about.

These are raspberries I saw along my walkabout last week. I do not remember exactly where I saw them. I gave tried to find them again with no luck.

Blackberries

Are starting to  ripen. The early  one are not nearly as sweet as later ones. The were on the roadside just past Dan's.

I worked in the yard some this morning from about 8 till 9:30. It was already hot by then.

I walked to Dan's around 2, and then again just now.  I watered the tomatoes and the plants out in front. Tomatoes look healthy but are just now starting to bloom.

I watered Helen's Garden and her basil.  The basil has to be watered every day now. She will be home soon and can then do her own chores.

Back to work tomorrow. Oh boy!
