Critters in our yard

 The kids found a few critters in the cherry tree in our yard.

Today is get er done day

Today I:

went thru the stacks of papers in my room, orgainzing and tossing as needed

washed my bedding

cleaned my c-pap equipment, which I do not do as often as I should

checked my work login from home to make sure I had it set up correctly before the deadline to be cut off on my home computer, it was already set up but I was not sure, now I know

reconciled car payment website against bank statement 

burned trash

sent pictures from my phone to Wayne Powell like he asked us to. I thought there was no need for this since he had his own picurtes, but I did it anyway, because he asked

Now I am going to take a nap...

Sprinkles and clouds

It sprinkled a bit around 8 this morning. When I started my walk at 9 or so it was overcast. When to the blue gate, 3 miles round trip. When I got back to Dan's gate, the sun was starting to peak out. Probably no rain today.

And just look at what the background on my computer was this morning.  Microsoft changes the image each day.

Hunting dogs

When we were walking this morning about 6:30, about here, a little fawn ran out in the road.  The dogs gave chase but then here came mama.  You can just bearly see mama on the left in the distance.  The grey dog loves to chase rabbits and squirels.

The short legged dog loves to chase rabbits and squirels, but she cannot even out run a rabbit. When she sees a rabbit or squirel she gets really excited.  But, when she smells or sees a dear she gets mad.  Her tail curls over her back and the fur stands on ends.  

 

This was on the game cam a couple of days ago.  Maybe the same baby we saw today.

New watch band

I broke the band on my watch Friday. I looked online but decided to try the Berryville Walmart.  They had this nice metal band either a magnetic clasp. It looks and feels so much better than the plastic band I had. I am glad it broke. This one will probably out last the watch.

I did some weed eating with the push weed eater after I took this picture, so I have more than 10,000 steps now. Daisy is mad that we did not walk.

The Army Boy is going across the big water again

 

Lane Henry called me today. In a few days he is crossing the Pacific to stay a year or so on a Big K Island.  I told him he should ask for Alaska next time.

Days to Remember

Memories are really hard, hard to remember and hard to forget.

Yesterday it rained for about 15 minutes, first rain in about a week, but I did not have to water last evening.

I have in need of a good slicing knife.  I have been buying half loin at Aldi's and making pork chops of them because they are half the cost of pork chops and I do not have to pay for bones for the dogs.  Got this knife yesterday and it slices beautifully.

Other memories? In April of 21 I started using a CPap, and in July of 21 I started my bone meds.  Just so google will help me remember these dates.
