Plants and animals...

Helen's rock garden.

Her corn crop.

And beautiful sun flower.

Her pigs.

Our 3 new Mamma's with 5 babies.  We let them all out for a few hours at the end of the day.  We keep the babies penned for the first 3 weeks now to keep the coyotes from picking them off.  We have not lost a baby to preditors since we started keepng them penned until they are old enough to follow without falling behind.

This is Cher's two boys.  Almost 2 weeks old.  

Here are all the new babies right after we turned them out.

It rained a little last night.  I am going to try to go for a walk anyway.  It is overcast now, but seems to have stopped raining.

The girl is glad to be back home, but she had a good time.  Her and her one friend stayed in a cabin with a bunch of teenagers.  I was afraid that would not work well, but she said they were all really nice.  Last year she stayed in a cabin with girls from Coin.  She did say she knew some of the girls, and they knew Emmy.  Anyway, she had a good time and it was fine.  This after noon we are taking them to the creek if it is not raining.  Off to walk now.

Following orders

Helen sez I need to water Mama's flower garden every day.  Wednesday, we went to the mountain and I did not get the watering done.  Last night, I went to water.  The flowers all looked fine even with going a day without a drink.

There is one beautiful gladiola. 

In amongst other plants, including a few weeds.

Many, many marigolds.

She said I did not need to go inside, but I did. The TV is still there, so I don't guess any thieves have stopped by.  This is daddy's chimney.


Everything is well.  Today, Grandpa goes to drag the girl off Bobo mountain.  The boy has enjoyed his time to himself, doing whatever he wants with the boss gone.  I hope he kept up with the chores she assigned him or he will be in big dodo.

A day late, but I remembered, just did not remember to post.


We went to the mountain top [Bobo] last night to see the girl at camp.  She was having a wonderful time.  We came away with a greater appreciation of Brother Jerry's Sunday messages.
