New bird house and new chair

Gilbert made this bird house for me.  I think sister asked him to make it. It has an Arkansas licence plate for a roof. Greg put it up today.  Maybe a bird family will make it home.

I I bought this chair to sit out in the yard.  I thought I will buy an nice set of lawn chairs, but then I considered that I would want to easily move it around in they yard from shade to shade.  I am not much for sitting in the sun. This works perfectly,  It looks nice, but I can drag it around with just one hand.  And, it only cost $17.  I enjoy sitting out in it in the evening until the mosquitoes come out.

Back to work tomorrow,  Kids are out of school, so sister is in charge. 

Flowers for Grandma

Yesterday, Helen and I went out to Gass Cemetery and took a picture of Grandma's flower pot.  She would love this.  It looks so pretty.

And, Friday, I went out to Grandview and put flowers in the holders on Tony and Janet's stone.  It looks so pretty.

Yesterday, we also went to Alpena and put new string on the flowers there so they would stay put.

Then we went down to Harrison to Helen's flower man and I bought some more annuals for my pots on and in front of the deck.  Greg says it is food for the goats.  I hope some of them survive.  I have a few left because I had more plants than pots.  Maybe Helen will want them.

I am enjoying the dryer weather.  Summer is here.  I turned the air on yesterday.
