New phone

I finally got a new phone yesterday.  Instead of getting a Samsung like I usually do, I just gotta a cheap phone. I had been putting it off because I dreaded setting it up.  As it turns it was as easy as everyone said it would be.

So far, I am pleased with my choice.  It works much better than the old one.

I don't think the camera is as good, but that is not too important.

The other phone actually worked for most things except for making calls.  And, this one is much faster. So far so good.

Well, it did not go as planne

But with Sister's help, all the goats have left the building.  As it turned out, I had the wrong date for the sale, but we did not know that until Greg got over there with the first load Saturday morning.  I felt bad about all the work and then just going to have to do it over another day.

I told Sister I was just going to try to sell them outright and get someone to come get them.  She posted online around noon or so, and before 3 pm she had them all sold.  The buy came, loaded them all up, paid cash and we did not have to do anything except get them in the pen before he got  here.

Helen thought I would miss them, but I don't think so.  Since I could not take care of them by myself, they were sometimes just another worry.  I hate asking for help.  l

She said the buyer said they were the prettiest goats  he had ever owned.  George would have been proud.  Sometimes, I do fell a little melancholy that George did not live to enjoy Earnhardt and his offspring.

Anyway, all is well now.

This is the whole herd, except for Earnhardt, in July. And Daisy, the pup.

This is some of the herd just before we rounded them up for sale.  They are pretty.  We sold 25, including the 2 red babies born a couple of weeks ago.  I am pleased with it all, and thankful to Sister for her help.  I am not much of a salesman.
