Christmas in January

Robert got his Christmas Peterbilt shirt and hat yesterday.  He is proud.  I have to go see  how to rotate it.  Well, I found it but it did not work exactly right.  Let me try again.  OK, there we go.

It is a very well constructed hat with an embroidered peterbilt patch.  I bet he wears it this am.

It was 60 yesterday and 15 this am, but there was not anything falling on my head.  I am really tried of cold, cold.  Last week I had ice chunks from the goat water containers all around the waterers.  Probably be that way again in a couple of days.  Sunday is the next day we have that is supposed to get above freezing.

The goats start having babies in 3 weeks.  I sure hope we have warmer weather by then.

Lane's Marine Photo

Took a while to fine it.  I took the pic of the pic 09-21-2014.

We have to go to Hannah's ball practice tonight.  She enjoys basketball.  It is 2 hours long.  Robert and I just sit in the stands and watch instead of coming home and going back.

It was supposed to be warmer today, but it did not feel warmer.

In less than a month, we will have new baby goats from our billy.  I am anxious to see how the nannies and babies do and how the babies look.

Earnhardt, the billy, is the same age as our two smaller females born the end May, but he is twice as big as them.

It is supposed to be warmer tomorrow.  I hope so.  The sun did not even come out today.  Gloom and more gloom.

Greg's Marine Photo

When George died, I was looking for this photo to go with the other military photos but could not find it.  I knew I had it scanned on the computer somewhere, but looked for hours in vain.  It was in the docs folder instead of the pic folder and the name was Greg Marine.   I really like that it and Lane's Marine photo are the same.  I will have to look for Lane's Marine photo and put it here.

It has been really, really cold but yesterday was warmer with rain.  Today was a little warmer and it is supposed to stay above freezing until the end of the week.  I am glad.  I  had cold cold.  Cold is alright, but cold cold is miserable.

The used dryer I bought a couple of months ago stopped working so I bought a new Kenmore from Sears in Harrison.  I like it and it works great.  Helen has the other one.  Brother, we only have one now, thinks he can repair it for  her.  I hope so.

Hannah's knee has been giving her trouble all last week, but it is better now.  She has basketball practice tomorrow after school.  I have to go watch to make her sit on the bench if it starts bothering her again.  I think what happened is it was bothering her a little and when she had PE last week she injured it further when she should have sat out.  Her Dad asked if she told anyone it was hurting and she said, yes, I told my friend.

Next time I am looking for Greg's Marine photo, I will know where to find it.
