The Eagles have returned to Dry Creek

The Eagle tree on JR Snow's place, across the road from his house.

I took lots of pics, so some of these are the same and one is cross ways.

And then my herd of Sixteen.

Today, I am painting the trim for my bathroom closet door so when Gilbert comes over to put it up, it will be ready.

It is supposed to be almost 70 today, so here in the shelter of the rock query, it probably will be 70.  Enjoy the day as it is prepared for you.

Giving

Had a great Thanksgiving with Erin and all Sister Betty ' family  yesterday.  Betty girls prepared a wonderful meal.  Greg Jones" Dad smoked a turkey and it was the star of the show.  There were so many deserts it was impossible to choose.   I choose Erin ' lemon pie with calf sobers and brought home a whole pumpkin pie plus cinnamon ring for breakfast today.

I had thought about buying a new phone at wally world and we actually went to harrison last night. It was such a madhouse we left after a few minutes.  I bought the kids food at macs and just came back home.

I am prouder of my phone today.  Really as a phone it is not the best.  It drops lots of calls and cuts me off a lot.  But when thinking changing yesterday I decided I needed to check my pws on my three email accounts. I actually use all three still. Checking pws is not easy when every device has stored pws.  This morning with the help of my phone I got all three sorted out.

Now to see if this posts without me entering my new Google pw in this phone app.  I think it will.  I knew I did not have the Google pw cause I tried to help hannah with her phone and it would not let me in.  I.knew I needed to get pws  straight before changing phones.  I don't know if I will get a new phone or not. This one is good at everything except making phone calls.  I may get hannah a new cheap phone fir her bday and Xmas. Or maybe not. We will see.

A Thanksgiving Prayer

From Dear Abby...

Oh Heavenly Father

We thank Thee for food and remember the hungry.
We thank Thee for health and remember the sick.
We thank Thee for friends and remember the friendless.
We thank Thee for freedom and remember the enslaved.
May these remembrances stir us to service.
That Thy gifts to us may be used for others.

Amen...

To blog

Brother Gilbert came today and hung the closet door in my bathroom.  With the matching cabinet he put in last week it looks just beautiful now.  All that is left to do is put the facing and trim around the opening in the closet.  He says he will be back next weekend to do that.  I am just amazed he can do all this stuff and it looks so professional when it is done.

I really need to get back to posting.  I use this space as a calender as to when things happen.  No reminders here lately.

Greg went back to work 2 weeks ago saturday. He is in Montana and maybe heading to Iowa this week.  At least that is where I think he said. He will not come in for thanksgiving, but will be home christmas.  At least that is the current plan.

I turned billy goat Earnhardt out with the herd two weeks ago.  I think all the girls are bred.  He can run with them til they start kidding at the end of january.  So far he is behaving himself and running with the herd all day.

Junior has bought our plane tickets to go see Lane.  We leave 12/21 and come back the 29th.  It is going to be an adventure.

The kids are out of school all week.  Hannah is with a friend now. Will be home tomorrow night.

It was a beautiful 65 degree day yesterday.  Today was all drizzle, high of 37.

Back to work tomorrow, but I have off Wednesday thru next monday.  Not sure what we will do other than go to harrison for thanksgiving and just not go to work for almost a week.

I have library books to read. Winter is good for reading.
