Lost and Found

This is pics I took of the kids in 2011 or so, before they came to live with us.  They were hanging in the hallway, but the one of Hannah had fallen off.  I was looking for it this morning so I can rehang both together again.  At first I could not find it even tho I had it just last week.  I knew I had put it 'up', just could not remember where up was.  Now I have it, but I am going to paint the hallway before I hang them back.

At 9 this am it was still really foggy.  Is clearing off now.

Today Hannah goes to a sleepover birthday party and Robert has a friend coming from our Church group to spend the night.  Not sure what we will do.  I thought maybe a movie, but could not find a kids movie that I thought 2 boys would like.  99 out of 100 movies are R rated any more, and  many of those are about comic book SIFY heroes.  It seems to me that so many adults fantasizing about cartoon heroes is a telling sign about our society.  Lost in a fantasy fog.

Happy Halloween

Tonya is taking the kids and her grandkids trick or treating tonight.  I bet they have fun.

Thanks, Brother

for hanging the curtain rods for our new drapes.  And thanks to sister for sitting on the couch and bossing brother around while he worked.  I really like the drapes. This improved the look of the living room.

There is also matching drapes in a shorter length on the window in the kitchen area.  I am going to get a different light curtain to go over the window by the sink.

The drapes are silver / gray wiht some light golden tan on a cream colored background, but when we hung them the gray looks more blue than gray.
Brother did a good job with hanging the rods.

Thanks, Erin

Hannah loves her new bed.  The mattress is really wonderful.

The bedspread goes well with the room color.

I think it looks so much better than what she had in there before.  This looks very girly, and that is Hannah.

Thank you so much, Erin.
