So...

I've been walking, looong after midnight, three days in a row.  When I get this done I am starting out for today.  I is almost 50 degrees right now.

Yesterday, Hannah and I went to Branson to get a replacement receipt for her IPOD since I could not find the original.  I am sure I put it somewhere really safe.   The replacement paper was painless since I paid with a card. We bought her a pair of boots an me a new pair of sketchers for work.  I also got a pair of earbuds that I think will stay in my ears better when walking.  I have transferred all my music from my computer to my phone.  And, this am I got her IPOD to connect to my computer so I can give her music I download from the great library in the western sky.  With freegal I can get 5 free songs each week.  They  have what they have,, some new, lots of old, but it is all free.  Anyway, she only told me of about 5 songs she wanted, so I picked some out to buy myself  with the money her Daddy gave me to  buy her music.  I filled the IPOD up before I spent the whole amount as we had several songs iin Itunes already.  Now, she can pick and choose what she actually wants on  the IPOD drive.  If it is not on the drive, she can only listen with WIFI.  She took it with us yesterday and was not much company with those things in her ears.

Our big mamma goats are getting bred back this last week so we will have babies again the end of May.  This week we have been trying to turn out the mammas  while keeping the kids in.  Cher does not miss her babies much when she is out grazing and we are afraid she will loose them if they are out with her  We want to keep them penned for another month.  We may as well keep all the babies penned if we have to keep some of them up.  It is hard to get the mammas separated from the  babies to let them out, but George has managed to let them out part of the day for several days in a row.

Speaking of days inn a row, time to go walk.

Walking

or not walking.  I have not been walking regularly since I hurt me knee at the end of June.  I keep planning on starting up again, but always tomorrow.  Today I walked to the graveyard over by the stone house.  That is 2 miles round trip.  We will see if I can make it two days in a row.

And, I got my dumb watch and dumb phone to connect again.  They were connected but back in Sept the unconnected and just could not get back in sync.  But now they are.   When they sync, the phone keeps track of all the  steps.  I guess the watch does also, but all you can see on the watch is today's numbers.  Really, what I like best about the watch/phone connection is that my watch can make the phone ring even when it is on silent. I am always miss placing my phone here at the house an it is always on vibrate because I have to keep it that way at work.  It is too much trouble and too hard to remember to switch it back an forth.  Anyway, I am all connected up until the next time I let the watch run down.  That is how it looses thee connection.  I have been much better at keeping it charged, so maybe it will stay connected now.  I now wear the watch every day and feel lost without it.

Hannah really loves her new IPOD.  She has lots of games.  And, we downloaded a app so she can text anyone, and even use it as a phone with the mic connected. She has some music on it, but not all that much.  She said she wanted it for music, but I think she mostly just wanted to play on it.  She really likes the camera and the games.

Son will be home this weekend and then Helen on the 8th.  Hope the weather holds out through the new year as son comes home through  Chicago news years day.  They are having a great time in Okinawa.

Only the babies

Are in the pen today. For the first time I managed to let all the big goats out at one time. That is since they started having babies last month.

Helen would so proud

Of me.  I downloaded an app on hannah's ipod for texting.  It said it would send pics but I could not figure out that part. U tube to the rescue. Now I know. The ipod takes better pics than her cannon camera.  Here is the proof. Thanks to Aunt Helen.

Christmas 2016 all about presents...

Before opening...

My good camera is half way round the world so pics are not as good as usual.

Big, big truck.

excited.

Tools to work on trucks.

Truck from Helen.

Hannah with Ipod.  She opened the charger earlier, but did not catch on.

Three big pickups.  Now where do we put all this truck stuff.

Logging truck from Helen.

Bath stuff from Helen, fuzzy picture thanks to son in Japan with good camera.

Dog got a new food bowl.

Hannah loved the IPOD and all the bath stuff and perfume.  She got no less than 3 dollar store perfumes.  We will all smell for a while.  Robert loved it all including the tools.  After dinner was done, then went in Hannah's room and hung things up everywhere with the help of the hammer and other tools. Robert loved using the  hammer.  He thinks he needs a saw.

I had to download an app for Hannah to text because the stupid Apple texting app only texts to other Apple devices. We have not other apple devices since I broke the ipad by trying to update the system.  They never used it anymore anyway.  They mostly play games on the phones.  Now, Hannah can play on her Ipod.  It downloaded all the games she had on Grandpa's phone.  Robert says now can I have the phone for my games???

We ate son's ham from work.  I only m,made potatoes, bread and salad as we only had the kids and Uncle George's friend and her young son.

Greg got in Christmas Eve at 11:30 and had to Christmas at 1:30.  He is in Hope this week. He hopes to get a few days off after the holidays.  The company he works for now does a lot of work in factories when they have down time, like holidays and weekends.  It pays good, and they have good benefits and nearly all their work is in Arkansas or very close in Mississippi or Texas.

Back to work tomorrow, but this will be a three day week for me.  Oh Boy!!!
