New rug for new floor

Sister Helen finished her hand made rug for her dinning area. It looks great and is just the right size.

No sunrise

Today. I walked my 2 miles starting at 7. The sun was hiding behind these glorious clouds. I love clouds.  Morning was cool and damp. A relief from our hot and dry.

Took me  an hour to go complete the 2 miles. It is 1000 steps from Sister's light pole to Dan's gate. Just so you know.

I am off to the grocery store now. We are having a noon meal at Church tomorrow. Hannah want to go so she has to cook a dish. She wants to make rolls. I need wax paper and new tooth picks so Robert can make the butter pats for his part.

It is going to be a beautiful day.

Rain

Glorious rain. It has been about 2 months since we have had a soaking rain. I love it!

I have been spending most of my free time looking for dead people, but tonight I am starting a new book. I hope it is good.

Good neighbors

To me are neighbors I don't see or hear. About a month ago our neighbor at the corner past Helen's built this elaborate gate, driveway and fence down past my house. I can clearly see and hear everything they do down there and they can clearly see our front door. I feared they were preparing to build a house there. So far no sign of any structures and, once the gate and fence was completed, I have not even seen anyone down there. The gate has never been used, yet. Maybe it is a gate to nowhere.
