Pandemic mail

Today, I got pandemic mail.  It said I might be eligible for state assistance with end of life expenses.  I gave it to son.  I do not plan on paying end of life expenses.  I am leaving of the bills for the Left Behind.

The photo is a dogwood blooming 2 weeks ago on the Buffalo River, which incidentally is now closed.  Our dogwoods just came into full bloom a couple of days ago.

Greg and the kids did not catch any fish, so Hannah made him buy catfish to cook.  I haven't tried it yet but it smells good.

I knew they were going to say we should wear face coverings, so I asked sister to make some.  She has 3 or 4 made, but I will only need one because I cannot breath through a face mask.  In one day I will be asphyxiated, so I will not need one the next day.

Walking to the dead...

About 3 weeks ago i started trying to get back to my daily walk.  I had been noticing stiff joints in the morning.  If I can walk a mile or two at least every other day, my joints do not ache and I just feel better overall.

This morning I want to see the sunrise so I started at sunrise. Sadly, the sun is not going to rise today. Our weather is all gloom today, to match the rest of our world. It listed rain the entire mile and back, but unlike the photo, I live.

Greg has bought fishing gear for the kids and us planning on taking them fishing today. Tomorrow will be better fishing and walking weather.

God bless ALL, especially all the hungry little children wherever they may be and whatever their nationally or faith.

New to them truck

Greg bought a used pickup last week. Today he took off work and got it tagged. It is a Toyota. The boy wanted a Ford, but the kids are pleased with it just the same.  It looks nice, runs good and is nice inside. Greg is just glad to have his own wheels.

A gift horse

Gilbert gave me this old pony collar.  It is a gift, so I need to do something with it.  I am going to make a collage of some old photos and use the collar as a frame.  This is a first attempt.  Pictures are just laid out for now.  It will need a dark colored background instead of this white. Probably black.

Today is a beautiful day.  I walked 3 miles, but not doing much now.  Tomorrow back to work, but I start new hours so I do not have to rise nearly as early as I have been.  New starting time is 7 am, for now.

The red buds are beautiful right now.  I stole some from David Gibbs and put them in a mason jar so I I can enjoy the color in my living room. They look very cheery.
