Lane's Computer

I bought Lane a new computer  because he is supposed to start college courses.  I tried to get BestBuy to send it to him but that did not work out.  Yesterday, I sent it via our US Post Office.  I ensured it in case it gets dropped in the Ocean between here and Japan.

I did not ask him what computer he wanted. I bought the one I wanted.

Toshiba - Satellite 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i3 - 6GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Brushed Black

It is supposed to be in the upper 60's today and tomorrow.  I guess I will go grocery shopping at noon today.  I don't really want to, but probably need to.

I turned the heat off in This Old House last night.  I will need to turn it back on Wednesday night and then Sister can take it from there.  Less than a week now and she will be back.  I can't remember when she goes to AZ but it is soon.

If Patsy were still around, the Trump would be much more fun.

Harry Smith on Obama

Published: January 29, 2008 12:30 PM ET

NEW YORK You can't say that the thought had not already occurred to millions, but still it was a surprise to watch CBS morning guy Harry Smith raising today the question of Barack Obama getting assassinated -- with Ted Kennedy, no less.

According to the video, Smith asked, "When you see that enthusiasm [for Obama] though, and when you see the generational change that seems to be taking place before our eyes, does it make you at all fearful?"

Kennedy seemed to not know what Smith was hinting at -- although he did stutter a bit -- and offered a bland reply about a "new generation."

I am sure Kennedy knew exactly what Smith was saying. no one has had the audacity to say this until now but I am sure it is a real possibility.
I wonder who Teddy has in mind for the Vice Presidenty?

I thought you were keeping the computers until he got back from his mission?
