The W's

The W's are Who, What, When, Where.  When I have questions about a W' in my life, I can often find the answer here.  Lately, I have not been writing much  here.  Someday, I am going to be searching for a memory from 2016-2017 and not have much here to draw from.  I need to start posting more.

Helen and I were talking yesterday about when George and I started putting the new floor in this trailer.  I looked back and found that we bought it in February 2010.  In looking for this detail and a few others recently, I read several little stories about Hannah and Robert.  These little details from our lives would be lost if I had not recorded them here.  I need to start recording more of our details.

The clock that has hung here in my living room for many years stopped working last week, so I ordered another one exactly  like it except for a small difference in the color.  This one has a reddish tone and the old one was more brown.  The one that died last week was given to us several years ago by Junior.  It replaced an earlier almost identical clock that was a gift from my mother.  Each hanging in this exact same place in the living room.  The cross to the left is a gift made by brother Gilbert.  The clock chimes rather loudly during the day, but does not chime after 9 pm.  Hannah is glad because her bed is on the other side of this wall.

This is one of a pair of lamps I got for my bedroom.  I wanted a touch lamp that turns on and off by touch.  I love them.  They are really pretty and I can see to read much better with this lamp.

I have read some of the books Betty  sent me.  So far only one was a 'good read'.  I can't remember the name of the book, but it was about a Jewish girl named Lisa Jura from Vienna that was sent to a. children's home in England at the start of WWII.  Google says the book name is The Children of Willesden Lane.

Saturday, I took the kids to see the Thor movie.  They enjoyed the movie even though Hannah did not think she was going to like it.  Now she says she wants to see Wonder.  I don't know what it is about,  but I guess we will find out. I hope it is not a comic book superhero story.

Today at work, i started setting up the computer system for our department at the new plant.  I have been told that I and my computer will be moving to the new office across the street.  I figured as much, but had not asked.  Since my work is really all computer work,  it does not much matter where in computer is located.

The movie sounds better than Thor!

It is amazing that the bogs record our comings and goings, but we do have to enter the data!!
