Well, I did not mean to post this one, but I guess I did. These were down in the corner on Betty's acre a few days ago. Deer just seem to be drawn to Betty and her land.
This is the herd minus Little Grey. Last year when she had her baby she kept loosing it for the first week or so. She would hide it somewhere on the hill and then forget where she had left it. Sometimes she would run around half a day bawling and searching for the lost baby. She would come up to us bawling, like she thought we should know where she left it.
This year, she had them at the barn. They were a week and one day old before they left the barn lot. She would only leave them long enough to get a drink and a few minutes of grazing close to the barn. This was yesterday down behind son's house. The first time she had left the barn with them.
Bertha is going to have babies about the end of the month. She is really broad, but is not dragging the ground like Little Grey was.

Blackhead and Whitehead.
Tonight, they were back up in the field close to the barn.
