Today, I drove down to jones corner and ate carrot cake. It was really good. I got an afghan and a new Kitchen Aid mixer. The mixer I had was an avocado green hand mixer handed down from Mama. Last week it bit the dust. It was probably almost 50 years old. Then, Betty gave me her old cell phone. I put my card in it and it works. It probably won't hold a charge for a week like my old phone, but it is a little more advanced. And, Laura sent me a book.
Tomorrow, I am going to make bread with my new mixer.
Then I bought myself a present. I have decided to lose weight, so I bought a digital scale to weight myself. This new scale is a dieter's dream. If you don't like the number it gives you, just wait a minute and step on it again. It always gives a different number. When you get a number you like, call it good.
Then, Helen sent me a potato sack. She said she got it from Daddy.
