Flowers on the side

Of the house that is.
An armadillo was digging in my flower beds around one of the bird fountains and around my big rock. Last night George and Mr. Twenty Two sent the armadillo on a trip to armadillo never never land.
I am getting lots of tomatoes. Tonight I took some to the babies. Robert just loves tomatoes. They have a garden, but their tomatoes are not ripe yet. They were doing great. It is always a joy too see them. I took Hannah her new dress. She had to put it on. It just fit and she looked really cute. Just like Me Maw. Robert had an infected sore on one of his toes and earlier today she had to 'operate' on it. She said he screamed and hollered the whole time, 'I want Grandma, I want Grandpa.' They are both a mess. They went to see fireworks the other night. Robert loved them. Hannah was scared to death.
Two more days and I am on vacation for a week. I had thought we would haul gravel for in front of the flowers above and the driveway that goes around this side of the house. But, George is still working the census. I am not hauling gravel by myself so I get to do whatever I want.
I have made a trade with brother. Fresh tomatoes for a portion of canned salsa. The girls at work who have tried Clayton's salsa said better tell him to go easy on the peppers. They thought his salsa was way too hot. I guess I will take whatever I get and complain about it later.
And, I don't have no stinkin' iron pans!

The flowers are huge.

We spent $1275 on gravel for on 800 foot road. That gravel is a good deal.
