Betty, Clayton and I are getting you a wonderful birthday present. I ordered a Powell DNA test kit from Family Tree DNA. Betty is paying for it and Clayton is going to be tested. This is the best present anyone could give you Helen. Our figure print will be set in time...you will be remembered.
I am glad you are doing this but do you realize if this turns wrong they will kick poor old one armed Laura Lansaw out of the DRA?
Oh my let's just hope he IS our brother! If not it will throw your whole genelogy thing out of wack...
I hope they connect us to some of the other Powell groups...he will be first from Charles Powell who died in 1744.
