i remember him down on his knees always on the lower side of the planted rows digging and scratching in the rocks...wonder why brother clayton does not have one there.....i remember at the time clayton thinking it was not the wisest place for a garden..."He planted it as far away from the house as he could in nothing but a damn old rock pile" was close to his words... clayton would have pots on the porch if they would grow there
The reason he chose this spot was the direction of the slope. So I am dumb and don't know what the direction is...but that is why he wanted the garden here. I guess not so much sun.
