Finally, George is going to have surgery
Thursday at the VA in Little Rock, early in the morning. We will go down Wed. evening. Surgery is Thursday am and, if all goes well he will be out and back home by Friday evening. He is having 2 disks in his neck replaced. We have been trying to get this done since February and will be so glad when it is over. I think he will feel much better after it heals, but it will probably hurt like the dickens for a week or so. Wish us luck.

well, i have to work thursday or i would come keep you company while you wait. are they cleaning out his carotids too ?? mom said they were clogged -- was she dreaming ?
Well, Ihope it all goes well. it sounds like pure pain.
george will just go back to work.
It will be just fine Fleta....They will give him pain pills you can eaily keep him druged through the weekend and he not even be awake. By Monday he will be ready and rearing to go back to work...
he can not go to work on Monday! It will be weeks. I will go down on Thursday to be with Sister, Sisters.
I bet everything will go fine and if he gets to hard to manage you can take one of his pain pills so you can relax also.
