Been There

 

I really enjoy traveling and seeing new places.  I have been thinking about all the places I have been. I have lived in in 6 states, Arkansas, Missouri, Maryland, Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska. I know I have visited at least 37 of the 50 states.

I say at least because some I am not sure of.  I know I have not been to Maine or Hawaii. I do not think I have been in North Dakota or Georgia, but I am not sure.  I don't think I have been to Minnesota, Michigan or Wisconsin. I don't believe I have been to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Delaware, or Rhode Island.

I have visited 22 National Parks and three foreign countries: Canada, Mexico and Japan.

Oh, the pictures? They were taken Monday, March 6, 2006 on I 40 about 2 hours east of the California / Arizonia line when we were coming back from seeing Robert in San Francisco.

 

Game Cam Feb 17

 And on to the weekend. It was a slow week at work.  The weather has been all over the place.  Wednesday it was 70 degrees.  Thursday it barely broke freezing.  Today was better, but really cold until late in the day.  February is over half over, so spring is on its way.

The Eagle Tree

 This morning when I went to buy groceries, there were EIGHT eagles in JR's Eagle Tree.

I took this with my cell phone, so it is not as good as the ones below, but you can see 6 eagles if you look closely. This was about 9:30 this morning.

When I came back home a little after noon, there were still 3 eagles in the tree and one across the road in another tree.  I came home and got the real camera and went back to get good pictures.  Here are some of the better images.

Again, the sun also does not rise...

But at least we did not get any snow this week  kids went to school and I made it to work all week. Weatherman says should be warmer this week.  I do not want cold or hot weather. Call me Goldilocks.

Tax documents

When you sell stock thru our company stock plan, the send a tax statement with the cost of what you sold. last year it came so late I thought they had not sent it or I had missed it somehow.  Same thing this year.  I got the statement today. Putting this here, next year I can search my blog and find the date.  But, I may not sell any this year.  Stock was way down today. The lowest it has been in over a year.

It has rained all day. Pastor says Dry Creek has topped the Coin slab. Good night to stay home and watch a movie.

Lost & Found

I found these down by the salt block today.

I don't guess it came from this one as he has more points.

Here is the baby.  You can see a buck and another deer lying in the grass.

And here they are runnng a few minutes later.  They came back about 4 in the mornng.  I enjoy the game cam, but it was more fun when it was on top the hill and whole herds came around during the day.

Weather was so much nicer today.  Topped out in the 60's.  I walked to Dan's and back.  I have to get back to walking every day.  Have I mentioned that I hate cold weather?
