With a good ground soaking spring rain.

Pieced Together

Grandma snipped, stitched, and pressed little bits of cloth.
Purple flowers, checks and plaids, red and yellow dots.
Mamma sewed our dresses and passed Grandma the scraps.
Together, they pieced together, memories of our past.
These little bits of cloth are what they left for us,
To piece us together with memories in the dust.

This is the little bird house I bought a Lovejoy'sFleemarket when I bought my computer hutch.  It was plain but helen made me paint it.  I love jut putting a cup of seeds in it and bringing lots of birds right to my door.
