When brother's game cams got stolen, I bought a new cam and put it in the field beside our lane and moved the salt block down here. It worked well until early May when the grass got so high all I got was pics of the grass waving in the wind.
I moved it up by the house but had not taken much interest in it since. Every once in a while, I would check on it and set it upright, because it kept falling over. Today, when I checked it, I found the image card had popped out of the slot. I stuck it back in and waved at the sensor to activate a shot, but did not notice that the camera was upside down. When I took the images off the card today, I had images of grass in early May and 3 or 4 images of me activating the camera on July 5. The next image is the one above, which I have turned around. It still looks really odd.
I am going to Walmart later to pick up my drugs. I will get new batteries for the camera and change them out today or tomorrow depending on how energetic I am and if I can remember. When I took it down to the salt block, I meant to take a pic of it with my phone but completely forgot. If I had, it might have been down side up also, as sometimes they are.
Here is the last good images I got of deer on April 26 in the early morning fog. After that a few birds and a bunch of someone's 2 dogs.
