Another day, another barn

Today was a little cooler, but we must not complain.  We have seen much worse.

I have walked my 10,000 steps or more 6 of the 7 days this week.  Yesterday, I only made 8,300.  If the weather holds, maybe I can make 7 of 7 next week.  I have started trying to make myself get up and walk for 5 to 10 minutes each hour at work.  I tend to get started on something on the computer and just sit for 2 or 3 hours at a time.  That is not good.

I am going to go look for a book to download, now or maybe search for dead people.  Some of those dead people really hide.  It helps when you are looking for a name like Aday. I have been trying to work on George's Johnson line.  There are lots of Johnsons and only a few are related to George.

Watch & wait

When I started my walk after work today there were 3 watchmen perched on the trees about half way between my house and sister's house. When I came back by about 30 minutes later, we had 5 sentinels.  This is not a good sign.

Spring weather

 It has been just gorgeous all week.  In the 70's yesterday and 65 today. I have started trying to walk my 2 miles each afternoon and walking up stairs at work to get in my 10,000 steps.  I am on day 4 today. I always walk a lot more when I have a way of keeping track of the steps and miles.

I am enjoying having Helen here.   She cooked ups chicken and noodles yesterday and has spaghetti today.  Hannah likes both these.  Robert is not nearly as picky as the girl.

Things are pretty much back to normal at work.  We have Monday off because of city water problems. That means they will work several Saturdays in the next couple of months.  Does not effect me.  I do not do Saturdays at work. 

I am so enjoying our beautiful weather. Ducks are back on the pond.

We are not working today because of a local water reserve shortage, likely because of all the broken, leaking water pipes.  We have had 2 days with NO freezing temperatures and it is supposed to be in the 50's today.  Most of the snow is gone.  Kids are back to school, Greg is back to work, and I am home alone.
