Beautiful Spring Day

But it started off quite chilly, a little below freezing.  I went for a 2 mile walk just a sunrise.  I have been getting back into walking a mile or 3 most days.  When Summer hits it will get harder to keep it up in the hottest days.

I have bought some flowers for the yard, but I will wait till tomorrow to start putting them out.  Since I no longer have goats in the yard, I can plant whatever I want.

That is the dogwood tree in the background.  By next week the blooms will be gone.  The redbuds and dogwoods have been beautiful this year.

Suited up for?

We are required to wear masks at work now. I have found mine useful at nap time.

Greg has been taking Robert to work with him a couple days a week for the last 3 weeks.  At first the boy mostly watched, but Greg has gradually beginning to use him as a helper. One day he had him help cut pipe, and today he got to actually do some welding. And today Greg's boss paid Robert $30.  I know he was pleased. He used some of the money to buy safety t-shirts.  It is do good for the boy.

Snow Day

Surprise snow this this morning.  I guess the kids didn't have to go to school today.

Easter Sunday, 2020, Free Parking

As I said, I walked to our Church this am.  Afterwards, I went in the truck to see how far it is because I had forgotten. It is 3 1/2 miles.  These are the photos I took.

Easter Sunday at Coin Church

This Easter Sunday I walked to our Church.  I was the only one on attendance.

The creek was not over the big bridge but it was about an inch deep on the little slab so my feet got a bit damp.  I sat on Nancy Anderson's porch and called Sister to come haul me home.  The hardest part of it all was riding with her.

It is a little more than 3 miles to the Church and it took me a little less than 2 hours to walk it.
