Celebrating Brother

Tomorrow is Richard's birthday. He would be 82.  He did not make it to 70.

Sisters are celebrating today at The Old House.  His daughter is planning on joining us. I plan on giving her this photo. Mama gave it to me years ago. Mama said the reason it is crackled is that his father carried it in his wallet on Iwo Jima.

I am giving her this one also. I am not sure if we have this anywhere else on the net, so I am putting it here for save keeping.

Sunrise over Dry Creek

I don't often get to see the sun rise as I am usually at work long before sunrise. Today is a free day. Sunrise to Sunset.

Alpena

Saturday I went by Alpena cemetery. Brother's cross still looks nice. It was worth what Sister Betty paid.

Weather has been cooler this week. I am glad.
