More cold and snow
But it is 27 degrees now.
Bertha and her 2013 babies, Johnny, June, and Blackjack. She has weaned her October babies and so has Mama Gray.
Little Sis and her nanny, Christmas Carol.
Baby eating a paper feed bag.
This is all the six December babies, but the black ones sorta blend together.
Very Cold, but warming up
It was 7 degrees this am, but is 20 now. It is supposed to get to 40 today, but ice and snow again tomorrow or maybe tonight. I forget just when. I don't know if I will go to work tomorrow or not.
Baby is fine.
Pretty, but cold.
again.
Fed and watered chickens, fed goats and tried to water them but they were not interested in water. George said I told you so.
Ice.

No school tomorrow, jeep is home
School called, no school.
Jr took the Jeep to Springfield this morning. He said it was not snowing there. By the time he got almost to Branson a little after noon, there was lots of snow and lots of old ladies leaving church. He made it just fine, but said he was wishing he had his truck. He saw lots of wrecks and stalled cars. He said the highways around Branson were littered with cars on the shoulders.
It has about stopped snowing but it is pretty cold out. The kids went out to play, but they did not play as long as it took them to get all their gear on.
We got about 3 inches.
I made spaghetti and rolls plus a cinnamon ring. Me and the kids can have leftovers tomorrow. Everyone else can fend for themselves.
A good day in spite of the weather.

Hell bent for Dixie...
Been snowing for a few hours now. It looks like we are going to get several inches.
No one will be driving this for a while.
It did not take them long to figure out the buckets were empty. I watered and fed the chickens and fed the goats. I bet the renter does not make it down to feed his hungry cattle.
Little Red early this am when it first started snowing.
Before the snow.
Snow day tomorrow for kids and grandma.
