Float the Buffalo

Robert thought this was the most exciting part of the trip, a lumber truck wrecked and had the road closed.

Away, we go.

Buzzard watching over us.

Lane and his one man show.

Found a shell.

Robert, 'Full speed ahead, Daddy!'

I have no idea what is going on here.

Lane, Jr and Em, the redheads and Dad.

Repeat.

Em and her one woman show. Lane with his Dad.  Did not last long.  Em knows when she had it good.

Greg whined and whined that this was really hard work. But, he had 3 paddlers in his canoe and the rest of us only had two.  And Lane was all on his own.

Still going.

Lane says, Mom, take a picture of the turtle tree.

At rest.

Come on Dad, we want to be first.

The water dog.

Heals over head.

Three of a kind.

Picture this.

The Aday Trio.

Drifting away.

Tomorrow is Lane's last day as a civilian.  He leaves early Monday morning.

Friday Eve

Tuesday, June 17, Baby Grey had this little Nannie.  She only had the one.  Mama and baby are doing good.

She is all white except for this little bit of light grey behind her left eye.  I am calling her Snow White.  This is our fist almost all white goat.

Hannah rode the horse.

Robert rode the horse.

Tonight, Helen turned him loose in the pasture.  After he was in there about an hour, she took some feed and called him up.  She was afraid he would not come to her, but the came right up and eat from her hand.  The way he acted when she turned him into the pasture, I don't think he has ran free in a field for a very long time.  He is in horse heaven.

Space code for Helen

If you have a 10 key, keypad, to type a space, hold the ALT key and press 32 on the keypad. When you release the ALT key, your space will appear. Works here, cause I just tired it. The 32 keys along the top of the regular keyboard do not give the same results, so you have to have a 10 key keypad with the num lock on. Helen, go up to the house and see about Emmy.

Sunshine, glorious sunshine coming our way

Today was sunny and nice.  I am tired of gloom and liquid sunshine.  I have looked at clouds from all sorts of sides and I am tired of looking at clouds.

One day, maybe Friday or Sunday, kids rode bikes in the rain for over an hour.

Babies in the barn Saturday.  There Mama is not the Momma her Momma is.  She left them for hours at a time, but since it is June and the weather is not a problem, they did just fine.

Today they were down on the pond bank.

I think Mama is saying, turn that TV off and go outside and play.

Saturday, I mowed the cemetery.  It was overgrown with weeds up to 2 feet high in places.  It is all clean again, but I was too tired to even take a picture.  Maybe tomorrow night.

Tonight I am babying Emmy.  She is a little under the weather.  Probably being out in so much of that liquid sunshine this last week.  She is asleep on the couch now.  Maybe she will wake up all better.

Helen sez, Happy birthday Betty

Fleta sez her birthday was yesterday.  Helen sez no it is today, the 14th.  What does Helen know?  Nothing, not even what day today is.

Betty, at 64.  Happy late birthday.

Does anyone have a picture of Betty and the billy goat?
