Left at 8 this morning, arrived at 8 tonight. Old people are very tired. Young hoodlums are running from pillar to post.
At least it did not rain on us at all today and it is not raining here tonight.

March 19
Rainy day. I think it is supposed to be rainy most of the week, but it is still really warm for March.
We are going to Baton Rouge Thursday and taking the little ones to see their Daddy. They are off on Spring Break. I am looking forward to a weekend vacation.
I plan on taking them to see the Gulf. Hannah will love it. Robert will love driving down the interstate to see all the trucks.

March 18, beautiful Sunday
George tilled the garden Friday, so today I planted lettuce, radishes, and onions. I was glad to find bulk seed at the new Powell-Bonham Hardware in town. They even have bulk seed potatoes.
I bought this at a garage sale to mark rows in the garden. George thinks I paid way to much for it, $25. I have wanted a hand plow to mark rows with ever since we started gardening again.
George Hampton's barn this morning.
The deer are really going to be mad at George. He moved the cattle across the road this morning. Deer do not like to share their space with cattle.
Back to work tomorrow.
