Not sure how many different bucks, at least 2 or 3 and 2 spikes.  I guess it is that time of year.  The bobcat and coyote during daylight is unusual.  We have never gotten anything except deer during the daytime.

On the move

I was up and out the door before the sun this morning, but that was after a long day of rest. Thursday, October 21, I got my second shingles shot and a flu shot. Yesterday I did not feel so good and laid around all day. Today, I am all better. Next time I will not let anyone talk me into 2 shots at once against better judgement. But, now it is over and done.

And, the sunrise was beautiful.

Today's Message

As I heard it, or maybe as I remember it.

Brother Jerry seems to start off with a central theme and then get carried off in the scriptures.  He started with St. Matthew 23 4-5

4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

I took from his message it is a duty of all Christians, not just Christian Ministers, to spread the Word and live by the Word.  I got the impression he thought maybe some who profess to preach the Word, do not themselves live by the Word.

I think Brother Jerry comes much nearer than I to living the Word.
