Old photos

I was looking for old photos.  Photos that I know are on our blogs.  Had trouble finding the ones I was looking for.  Here are some I found.

Hannah Singing

Hannah is in Choir this year.  On January 13, they sang at a concert at school.  I was impressed with how well the girls performed.

This was the Christmas play at Church.

I took pictures with my big camera at home coming on January 18, but had not looked at them.  Here are a few.

Lots of Kids

Last night was really cold, 18 degrees @ 5 am,  but Greg locked the 4 mama's and their kids in the inside part of the Billy pen.  Then Cher with the newest babies were in the mothering pen, so they should have done fine.  Today he is going to enlarge the Billy pen and put all the Mama's and babies in the one pen so they will be easier to take care of.  He has a big feeder in there to feed them in and we can water them from the faucet.  No more carrying them water.

Here is Cher with the newest babies. The brown one in front is a girl, the next one is another boy and the one laying down is another girl.

Several of the three new ones.  I thing the brown one with the speckled ears is really cute.  I think I will keep her and name her Bailie after the crazy girl I work with.

 

 

 

I was trying to get a picture of all eight in the one pen.  This may be all of them.  The 2 older red girls kept trying to run back to mama.

Five boys, Five girls, lost one boy, gained 2 boys and 1 girl

One mama had 2 last night, a boy and a girl.  Could not really tell which one was mama in the dark, but probably Cher.

Close up of the red girls.  I wanted to name one Mama, but can't think of a name to go with it for the sister.  Maybe Mama and Sister Mama.

Next was Lou with 2 boys and 1 girl on the 25th.  The one littlest boy died Saturday night, but the other 2 are doing good.

Then on the 26th, Sandy had 2 red boys and a striped girl.

Here is striped girl.  Not sure what to name her.  I probably will not keep her, but the kids will want to name her anyway.  May call her Patches. We have had  several named Patches in the past, but all sold down the river now.

Then, yesterday, Lisa Kelly had on big brown boy.  Last year she just had one boy.  Most all the mama's have at least 2. No pic yet.

And last night, one of the white Mama's had a boy and a girl. 

Helen sent pics. Mama is Cher, but she had 3.

Not sure if the dark one is boy or girl, but the other 2 is one boy one girl.  I think the one with the darker head is the boy. 

 Cher is the Mama, but they were dry and looking good so I just left them for Greg to take care of. He has been a big help with the goats.  He does the daily care and whatever else I ask him to do.

So, Wednesday, I had 15 goats. Now I have 26  with more to come.
