Seeds for the birds
Cost $30 for 50 lbs. Helen says it is worth it, but I doubt I buy more till winter.
I have house finches, yellow finches, and sparrows on the feeders and cardinals, bluejays and doves on the ground. I do enjoy watching them and listening to their songs.
It has rained all day and is almost cold.
Kids are out of school as of today. I am making pork chops, biscuits, potatoes, green beans and gravy to celebrate. Or, maybe just because that's my favorite meal

New Hobby...
This is an old barn between here and farewell. I think it may have belonged to a Tharp at one time, but I'm not sure. I have had many hobbies, photography for one. Stalking the dead, genealogy, another. Now my new special past time is playing lost and found, or sometimes, not found. On our shopping trip yesterday, I bought new socks at a bargain, 10 pairs for $5. I thought I put them on my sock drawer, but no. I looked threw everything on my room, even cleaning under the bed and dresser. No luck. After searching for almost an hour, I looked in the car. Found, finally.
Then Greg asked about the kids ss cards. Boy's was where it belonged, but no girl card. I knew u had it last, so it did not take nearly as long as the socks. Same place, in the car
This new hobby is no fun.
