Fall weather this morning

I got up early and started on a walk just before sunrise. Well, supposed to be sunrise. I did not actually see the sun until an hour later. The sky was hazy. I guess it is smoke from the West coast fires.

I did a little grocery shopping, but now I am just lazing around.

I have downloaded a couple of books to read. Beautiful lazy day.

Roses are red

Helen's flowers are looking much better since she's been gone. Greg mowed the yard yesterday and everything looks pretty and neat except the porch. I guess I need to sweep the leaves and grass off.

Our weather has been beautiful and kids still have real school.  All is good.

Burning off the fog...

It is very foggy this morning. A nice cool morning for a walk.

Lots of spiderwebs in the bushes.

Every wonder what spider made those webs all over the ground on dewey mornings? Me too. The net says if they disappear when the few burns off they are not spiderwebs at all.  If you really look at them, they have a much denser weave than spiderwebs.
