The picture is not of the new camera because I took the picture with the new camera. And, if you look closely, you can see the little camera I had before I bought the big gun last year right at the right edge of the computer. This makes 3 Canon cameras I have bought since I fell down and broke the SX20 about 3 years ago. This one is an SX50.

The reason I wanted this was because of the 50X Zoom. The camera I have is a much better and more powerful camera than this new one, but it would cost thousands as in more than 2 with three zeros to buy a zoom lens for my Canon 60D that would do half as much as this new one.
I got it at wally world in BRV with a comp ad from Target. I think it was a pretty good deal, $80 off full price. After Xmas it will be back to full price until next Xmas because it just came out this fall. I wanted to get it a Wmart, because if I don't like it I can take it back and get my money back. Lots of places will let you return something for certain reasons, but wmart will let you return things because you decided you don't want them after all even though there is nothing wrong with the item.
Well, got to go to bed now. Have to work tomorrow to pay for all these big guns.

I am so glad you got it....and yes Betty you should get one and then give it to Erin so we can see great pictures......That would be a great Christmas present for her
