Night Life

 I have been trying to get my game camera to find wildlife, but mostly I only get scary images like this.

or tame life like this.

It would not take images at night, and that is when the deer come around.  Finally, I got out the manual. It said if it took day time images but no night time images, put in fresh batteries.  I did, and it did.

And at 7:20 this morning a spotted fawn.

The Boy is here, Just for tonight. Coming from training at Ft Sill going back to North Carolina. So good to see him.

Lazy weekend

Except for phone work. I have kept a weather banner at the top of my home screen for years. It has the date and time in large type plus the temp and a few other weather details. Somehow, a few days ago the temp got stuck at 81. Saturday morning I worked for a couple of hours to get it fixed. Now I have 4 different versions of weather on different pages. I hate it when a machine does not do what I want it to.

So, not much going on here.

Game cam failures

Since the weeds and grass in the pasture have died down, I have put the game cam back by the salt block in the pasture.  So far, it has been a complete failure.  First the camera took 2000 images of tree leaves because it was pointed to high.

Then I did this, which was not quite as bad, but it still was too high and it fell over.

Las night I rigged up a new setup. We will see if we get anything other than sky and grass with this.
