Wasted Days & Wasted Nights

Or maybe, a life of loses.

Yesterday, I went to get fired for new glasses. I only need reading glasses and sunglasses, but I never remember where I put things. I have $ glasses for reading, but with them on everything beyond 2 feet is just a blur. I have $ sunglasses, but t cannot see my phone with them on. I lose all my many glasses several times a day. And, yes, I have found them on top my head a few times. I need one pair of glasses for all occasions so do not leave them laying some unknown place.

I am the queen of lost things. I have eye drops that I am supposed to use for about another month. Last night l lost the little bottle of drops. I spent 2 hours looking. No luck with eye drops but the floor under the bed and all the bedroom furniture is cleaner today.  And the entire bed has has been remade, twice. Just a bit ago I found them in with the junk on my dresser.

I have 3 cross necklaces somewhere completely unknown to me except for the one I found a few days ago, somewhere unknown to me now. The found necklace is on my dresser.  Tomorrow it is likely to be again among the lost again.

And I found some photos of Sammy for the memorial. I added one his 3 Sister's post along with his obit, if Sisters want to check it for errors or omissions.

Tuesday, August 4th

I took a vacation day today.  Yesterday, the kids and I shopped for school clothes again. they really don't need anything, but all kids should have a few new clothes to start school. We are all ready for real school again.  I just hope they don't have to shut down again

I am getting a needed hair trim today, then back to work tomorrow.

Flying Flowers

I have heard butterflies called this. I have many butterflies visiting my flowers now, not most are blue. I only have one like this. I tried to get a pic with its wing open, but no luck. 

I enjoy watching the bird, Bees, and butterflies on my flowers. I have many plants that cost more than a few $, but the butterflies prefer the colorful zinnas that I planted from seed, 4 packs for $1 at the dollar store.

It was nice and cool this morning for my walk. So far August weather has been great. I walked 2 miles.

More pretty rain

It has been cloudy and cool today. 

I moved the bird feeders up here closer to the house. There are no birds on them here, but usually it is crowded. I enjoy it more here closer to the deck.

I am taking Monday and Tuesday off just because.

Tomorrow I am taking the kids school clothes shopping.  

We really need to have real school. That is what our school has planned. I sure hope it works out that way all year. I am not a good teacher.

Beautiful Rain

According to my DIY raingage we got 1 3/4 rain this afternoon.  Will not have to water tomatoes for a couple of days.

Eyes are doing good. Life us good.

Plants & Animals

This is a little frog living with my hen and chicks. Helen said I needed to water them. I disagreed, but after she left I did water it and this little frog jumped out.

My eyes are doing great. They finally stopped itching a couple of days ago. I am still amazed to be able to see so we'll without glasses except for reading.

Tomorrow, back to work
