It is Spring

Pretty flowers and warm sunshine. I love it.

Tomorrow the kids are going to Silver Dollar City and Greg is going to his new job.

No one here but me all day. I love it.

Mountains

 

Son is in Colorado with his two kids.  So glad Lane is back on this side of the Big Water. I think a blizzard is coming to Colorado, but they will probably think that is fun.

We have had some cooler days this week, but the week end is supposed to be in the 70's.  I am ready. We have yellow flowers blooming all over the place, and the trees are budding out.  Spring if February would be nice.

So, this happened

It snowed yesterday. Started around 5 and kept going to 1pm.  But, it melted almost as fast as it fell. By 2, there was some on the grass, but pavement and dirt roads were clear. Supposed to be almost 60 today. I am hoping this is the last of winter falling on our heads. But then, one year it snowed on Patsy's birthday, May 3rd.

Visiting

I am at Sister Betty's for a couple of days. The weather is great, above 60 and mostly sunny. 

We are digging up dead people. But, she has caught that thing that goes around. If you don't know the name of an ancestor, just make one up.  

Happy whatever

I got a new washer today. The spin cycle quit working on the one I had. Greg and Robert hooked it up and it is working great. I am pleased with my choice.

I bought the one I had 6 years ago in 2017. Then I wanted a top loader, and most washers I saw at that time were front loaders. I also wanted a dasher, and most washers then had no dasher. When shopping this time, most washers were top loaders with a dasher. 

Sunny day

Still cool, but nice. I made my regular walks today, first time in almost 2 weeks. I walked to the cemetery at noon, and to Dan's around 3. I wore my big cold weather coat and was very comfortable. I think this week is supposed to be warmer with less rain. I am ready.
