Visiting

I am at Sister Betty's for a couple of days. The weather is great, above 60 and mostly sunny. 

We are digging up dead people. But, she has caught that thing that goes around. If you don't know the name of an ancestor, just make one up.  

Happy whatever

I got a new washer today. The spin cycle quit working on the one I had. Greg and Robert hooked it up and it is working great. I am pleased with my choice.

I bought the one I had 6 years ago in 2017. Then I wanted a top loader, and most washers I saw at that time were front loaders. I also wanted a dasher, and most washers then had no dasher. When shopping this time, most washers were top loaders with a dasher. 

Sunny day

Still cool, but nice. I made my regular walks today, first time in almost 2 weeks. I walked to the cemetery at noon, and to Dan's around 3. I wore my big cold weather coat and was very comfortable. I think this week is supposed to be warmer with less rain. I am ready.

Counting my nots

It's not cold. It's not icy. I do not have to go to work today. All blessings. It's going to rain all day. Do you have nots to count?

Foggy and damp

Beats icy and cold. It has been overcast from Tuesday on this week. It's rained some each day, with only a little sunshine but the temperature had stayed above freezing since the ice Monday. One more workday this week. So far so good.

Looking to Monday at noon

By about noon today we should be above freezing. Tomorrow morning starts off not so good, but by noon all is sunshine and happy days for the week. Then, we can say we survived the deep freeze of '24. I will be glad to put the behind me.
