Game Cam-April 15

I collected the images from the game camera Friday.  Here is a sampling.

Still the deer only come around at night.  This is a really good picture of Ginger. I have moved the camera.  Maybe I will get some daylight pics in the new location.

I am finially over my crud.  I am back into walking and trying to get in at least 2 miles a day now since the weather is warmer most days. By 4 when I get the kids feed it is usually really nice for a walk. I do not enjoy walking in the cold.

I even went to church today.  It has been 7 weeks since I had been.  It felt good to be back.

Spring storm

We got hail about 3:30 this afternoon. It really pounded for about 10 minutes.  Now it is cool, but it was 80 yesterday. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's.

I love the warmer weather.

Good Food

I cooked a small ham and baked potatoes. Hannah made homemade rolls. The rolls were really, really good. We forgot to put in the salt. It was my fault as I was telling her step by step. We made up for it with lots of butter. I will write out a recipe with instructions and print it for her so she will not have to depend on my faulty memory.

Federal Income tax facts

I finally got around to filing my taxes last Friday.  I get a small refund from the state, but have to pay in on Federal.  Sister wondered why she had to pay a penalty and I did not.  I figured it was becasue I  paid  a larger protion of my total tax bill than she had. Below is what Uncle says about federal income tax penalty.

"If you didn't pay enough tax throughout the year, either through withholding or by making estimated tax payments, you may have to pay a penalty for underpayment of estimated tax. Generally, most taxpayers will avoid this penalty if they either owe less than $1,000 in tax after subtracting their withholding and refundable credits, or if they paid withholding and estimated tax of at least 90% of the tax for the current year or 100% of the tax shown on the return for the prior year, whichever is smaller. "

So, there!
