Beautiful, Beautiful Day

 For a day off. Actually, shirt sleeve weather this afternoon.  I walked over to cemetery road, but not early.  By the time I got back to Helen's, I had to take my jacket and hat off.

I went down and got the game cam card.  There was a few images of deer, and one day the coyote came by.

I am liking the new computer. Things are a bit different with Windows 11, but I am getting used to how it works.  And, today, I saw a sticky at the top edge of the screen.  I took it off and found that there is a camera after all.

It just does not take very flattering pictures.

New clothes

For my bed. I whined around to Helen until she gave me this pretty bedspread. She said she was not using it, but I am not sure if that. Anyway, the price was right and now I have it. It need to be cut because it is a queen size. Not only is she out something she paid good money for, she also has work to do so it suits my purpose. A win for one is a loss for another. 

I did not leave the place Thursday or Friday, but yesterday I tried wally world. All I bought was some work t shirts for Greg. I will mostly give money presents, but always give some little something to wrap. 

Other than that, I looked around and decided to just shop online. I do not like buying clothes online because I always want to see how the are made and feel. Most other things online is fine with me.

I really like my new computer. It is sleek and fast. Windows 11 is somewhat different, but it is mostly just a matter of learning how to use it. 

Tomorrow is my last day off and then back to work.

Thankful

For my wonderful family. I didn't think to take a picture while everyone was here, but here is the cleanup crew. Eliseo and Hannah. We used my good china here in front of them. I was afraid they might break something while washing the dishes but they did great.

Helen did most of the cooking. It was all really good. Everyone was here except for Lane. Em Face timed him so we all got to tell him happy turkey day. Em friend Lex came with her so we all got to meet him.

It was a great day, and nothing left to do but relax. 

I am blessed.

New computer

And new broom. 

I got a Lenovo 16 inch with 32 Ram and a 1 T hard drive. So far, it's all good 

Valley of the dead

Computer that is. My laptop has taken a dive. I can sorta use it on the net, but not much else. I am going shopping for a new one today.

And taking kids shopping to boot. Wish me luck.

Working vacation

I am off work all this week. Yesterday and today I painted my bedroom. And, Greg put up a couple pieces of paneling that were not put back when brother redid my bathroom.  It looks much better.

Tomorrow, I am organizing the laundry room and maybe cleaning the kitchen. The laundry room is a mess. The kitchen not so much.

It feels good to have a clean room.
