Riddles

This is grave markers for William Henry Riddle and his wife Hester Ann Nelson Riddle that are in the cemetery in Dan Norton's field. You can see this cemetery from my house. Yesterday I walked down in the field and took a few pictures because someone was inquiring about how to find these two graves. So, I have been passing the time on this rainy morning riddling the Riddles. I think I have most of the pieces of this jigsaw I'm place. There may be a few missing pieces.

Sister, sister

Betty took this of Sister Helen. The clothes are from Laura Jene. Bet says, "It looked different on Laura because she is taller."

Home again

The sisters were together again at the home place. One of the crazy sisters always insists we take a photo each time we meet because it might be the last.

I sure miss brother Clayton. Once he was gone, there was no one left for a sane conversation.

I have not had time to post...

 I have been busy stalking my high school graduating class on the 1950 census. This all started just because I had been excitedly awaiting the release of this census because it would be the first time I would see myself listed on a census.  Nope. I am not listed at all.

I have found a few details about my classmates but the most interesting story is the matter of 17 individuals in a marriage series.  Serial marriage.  So, here is the 17. First names only. Plus this  classmate has a brother from a different mother with the same given name and surname.

No divorces for Everett, first 2 wives died young
