Snow Day

Lots of Critters

Down The Rabbit Hole

Come, waste some time with me.  Yesterday was someone's birthday, so I was looking for what other momentous events might have occurred that day.  But, my Rabbit Hole mind led me to this.

https://www.almanac.com/weather/history/AR  where you can find historical weather in Arkansas.  For Harrison it only goes back to 1946, but other stations have different starting dates.  As a time waster, this site is spot on.

To waste time for other states, just replace the AR in the URL with the 2 letter state abbreviation.

It is supposed to warm up today. Weather says 38.  Maybe we will hit 40.  I am ready.

I cook

Pork roast and homemade bread.

Want to eat out on the deck?

We now have about 5 inches of snow with a tiny bit still falling. My phone says 15 degrees, my thermometer say 17. The roads are a big mess. No work for me yesterday or  today.  Greg's work was cancelled Wed and Thur. I'm guessing again today. Weatherman says warm up starts tomorrow, but still bitter cold at night. Did I mention I  am ready for spring?

Yesterday, I spent most of the day looking for Rob's ancestors on Ancestry. Today, I need to find something else. Helen is cleaning and decorating. I am not cleaning. I think the kids wish I would cook.

Maybe I will do that. And maybe not.

So far, so good...

But tomorrow will be a different story. We only got a bit of falling ice today. They called off school, but I made it to work just fine. At 1 pm when I came home roads were wet but clear.

I got my truck back yesterday afternoon. Had the brakes worked on.  They seemed to have done a good job.

Tomorrow we are supposed to have a few inches of snow.  I doubt I will go in, but they are starting 2 hours later, so if I do go it will be daylight when I start.

It is not really cold yet, but tomorrow and Friday will be miserable. I will probably stay home and read a book.
