Snow, Blowing Cold

It is 29 now, but supposed to get very cold tonight. stay in and stay warm.

See, I told you it wasn't going to snow.

Well, except for the 6 inches or so.

I walked out to Dan's, about a mile there and back, about noon yesterday.  I dressed for the weather, so I did not get cold. I wore the gortex boots Betty got for my birthday one year, I think when I turned 70, 2015? The most disagreeable part of the walk was getting dressed for it.

I thought Hannah had been making a snowman, but it is just a snow roll.

I made this Parvola desert that Sister Betty advertised a few days ago. It was really delicious, but definitely not diet food.

Snow

Had just started. Not likely to stick on roads, but could get anywhere from  2 to 6 inches on 'grassy' areas, as our yards and fields. Maybe we can build a snowman, or more timely, a snowit.

Hannah is getting over her strep, but they are out of school til Wednesday. Too many out sick. So far, no one here has caught Hannah's bug. She tested negative to covid twice. All's well.

Just cause

Helen was feeling unwell. She heard the library had free tests so she got one. it was negative. I don't really know why she thought she was pregnant. I think it was just because it was free.

I took Hannah back to the doctor today and she is feeling better now 

Chicken enchiladas my way

I made chicken enchiladas today. It was a practice run as we are having a bring a dish thing at work Thursday, and this is what I  am taking.  I thought they were great, but Sister thinks enchiladas should be chrispy. I want lots of gooey green sauce with gooey cheese, and only flour tortillas. I am taking some to share tomorrow. We will see what the victims think.
