We have been busy downsizing our goat herd. On Friday, September 12, we sold 6 grown nannies and the 2 little billies that belong to Little Sister. All together they brought $570. Big Red brought the most at $100. Next was the white goat with brown spotted head from Little Sister at $75. Little Sister brought $67.50, and her billies brought the same each. The little grey nannie from Bertha brought $72.50, and the two littlest nannies brought $60 each. We thought about taking them to the goat sale at Harrison, but ended up taking them to Marble.
We gave Little Grey and her Grey Billy to Kelly.
We sold Baby Grey to JT and Linda for $50 and gave them her billy.
Now we have 10 goats total, 7 grown nannies, 2 young nanny kids, and one 3 month old billy. I need to take a picture of the ones we have left but for now, here is a picture of the herd before downsizing.

Picture day
at school. Tomorrow is grandparents day so we go eat with the kids. I always enjoy that and seeing all the old people.
I am taking one more day off so I am only working one day this week.
Yesterday we had Robert's birthday celebration at Church with chilli dogs and cupcakes. He had a great time and almost all the food was eaten. I think we had 20 kids last night.
Saturday Daddy is supposed to take the kids to SDC for Robert's birthday, and then Sunday we will have cake and ice cream.
Yesterday it just rained and rained. George and I went to Harrison for our 6 months checkup. We got our scripts renewed and that is about it.
This week end is supposed to be the start of fall weather.

More rain
today. I got part of the cemetery cut Saturday, but I got stung by bumble bees 3 times. Stings do not hurt me like they do some people, but they itched so much I took 4 bynadrills (sp) and then slept most of yesterday so did not get back down there.
I went to the courthouse today to look from Maples records for my friend/cousin in California. I was glad to find records that would help her. Was home by noon, but then it started raining and has rained most of the day since. School called and said no low water bridge crossings tomorrow. We have none of those between us and the school.
George is at scouts with Robert and then has to get Em from her Volley Ball game. Greg made it in from TN yesterday evening and left for Siloam today around 5. He will be home Saturday for Robert's birthday celebration.
I have spent time today looking for old pics from my backup drive. I finally found the one I was looking for of Huston and Irene Gaddy at their Ridgeway store. I put it on the history blog with Grandpa's bio.
I also found this pic that Betty was wanting a better version of because you can not see the hat in her version. I think this is a little better.

Watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Annie's got a gun. Gilbert took Sister's gun home last Saturday to put a scope on it, so she could kill big game like armadillos and possums. He brought it back tonight, but she is not home yet. She went to Dr at Fayetteville to see about getting her port removed. I just texted her and she says everything is find and she is on her way home.
I have insurrections from brother on how to the scope. The little round thing on top screws off to insert a battery. He brought extra batteries. The numbers on the side dial are for the brightness of the light. He said during daylight hours, you would need at least a 4, if not more. At night 1 might do it. Zero is for off, as in no light to save the battery.
Now the only other thing you need to know is do not coming sneaking around Annie's at night cause she has a gun with a scope.
