Guess what this is

This is my front door standing wide open at 11:30 on Jan 6 because it is 74 degrees outside. A beautiful windy day.

I walked my 4 miles, ate my oatmeal and drank my orange juice. I am now enjoying the beautiful day.

Sunrise Jan 06 08

It is balmy but very windy today. I am going to go walk to the red barn and back. Hope I don't get blown away.

My favorite niece

Yesterday, I got a call wishing me happy birthday from my favorite niece. The only problem is, I could not figure out which niece was my favorite. I thought at frist it was Missy, then thought maybe Erin, but finally I recognized that it was Janet, Patsy's daughter. So nice to get a call from your favorite. I guess it is nice also to have so many nieces that when they call you are not quite sure which one it is at first.

Going Sixty

Yesterday I turned 60 years old. I walked 4 miles to the red barn and back in 1 hour 15 minutes. I am starting to walk again. I had not walked for almost a month, but I am trying to walk every day now. Even on the cold days I went 2 miles to the graveyard and back. I think it is easier to walk when it is cold than when it is hot. I can put on layers to keep warm, but I can't carry an air conditioner.

Happy Day.
